Soil analysis enables to assess the overall environmental condition and safety of soil in the area under examination, study the chemical composition, quality and suitability of the soil for agricultural activities.
Large-scale use of fertilizers and pesticides in growing food crops, industrial pollution, heavy metal emissions from motor vehicles, damages in oil pipes, contamination with radionuclides - all these factors contribute to the deterioration of the ecological status of the soil cover, which, in turn, may have a negative effect on human and animal health, adversely affect the quality and quantity of food crops.
Requirements to the soil quality of the settlements and farmlands are set in SanPiN 184.108.40.2067-03 "Sanitary requirements to the soil quality".
To assess the land contamination with heavy metals, as well as to determine the impact of the nearby industrial facilities, landfills and highways on your land plot, we recommend to have a soil analysis performed by CDWTC using a standard list of chemical indicators. This analysis is also carried out during the selection of the land plot and design works, during construction and commissioning of the site.
Extended list of indicators allows a more thorough study of the soil, including the determination of heavy metals and the most important parameters characterizing the properties of the soil, as well as radiological and bacteriological research. This analysis is recommended for high-risk facilities (children's and educational establishments, sports grounds, playgrounds, residential development, recreation areas, private land plots).
Analysis of soil fertility (greenhouse soil analysis) is recommended for gardeners and farmers, allows an assessment of the condition of the soil at the site before growing the crops, choosing the plants that will ideally establish in this soil, providing the trees with a fertile basis, as well as efficiently and effectively applying the fertilizers in the future.
Radiological study of soil by gamma spectrometric analysis will determine the level of radionuclides, which is quite relevant in our time due to accidents at nuclear power plants and the disposal of radioactive waste.
Bacteriological and parasitological analysis of soil reveals the risk of the crop and consumer infection from the soil caused by Salmonella, enterococci and coliforms.
